We visited Amsterdam in May 2017. Most days were cloudy with patches of sun for a few hours here and there. Amsterdam is a good walking city since the tourist district is mostly within a 2-mile area. There are canals everywhere aligned by quaint 16th & 17th century buildings. We started our visit with a canal tour. There is an extensive tram car system running through the city center. There are bicycles everywhere - Amsterdam has more bicycles than people so you have to constantly keep a lookout when crossing the street. A highlight of our visit was a bus tour to the Dutch Tulip Festival at Keukenhof Gardens which is open only from mid-March to mid-May. Saturday night was a concert at the Royal Coccertgebouw, one of the world's most famous concert halls,
